The subtle difference between being miserable, and being alive (short)

Alex Mathers

When I am miserable…

  • I am concerned about those who do not matter to me.
  • I put less into more.
  • I am transformed by emotion.
  • I create enough.
  • I am a victim.
  • I trust thought.
  • I try to impress.
  • I hedge.
  • I judge.

When I am alive…

  • I improve the lives of those that matter to me.
  • I put more into few.
  • I am guided by emotion.
  • I create relentlessly.
  • I am responsible.
  • I trust sensation.
  • I am useful.
  • I commit.
  • I observe.

What are your thoughts?

So.... What do you do if you have had 12 cups of coffee....

AND

a donut?

I would love if you might elaborate on some of the negative ones. The writing is beautiful and raw, i just wish i understood a little better.
