I just self-published a book and sold over 600 copies in a week. Here are the steps I took from idea to launch
Recently, I shared my latest book, ‘The Art of Self Respect,’ with the world.
It’s one release of many that I plan to share over the coming months and years in my goal of writing and sharing enough books to make over $15k per month.
It took me a few months of on-and-off focus to write and compile this one. In the future, I aim to write books within a month.
I am getting there.
This time, I did everything myself, from coming up with the idea to writing the chapters, formatting to editing and even designing and making the cover.
A few of you have asked questions about the process, so I’ll give you a basic run-down of what I did.
Note: I am not a professional at self-publishing. I’ve published six books, but I am still very much in the experimentation phase of doing this effectively.
I chose the book idea based on previous articles I had shared on Medium that did well.
Almost all my articles on getting more respect and raising your status were very popular.
