How I learned to end creator’s block
Join me for a cup of tea
I used to struggle to sit down and write.
My mind would go blank, and I’d curse myself for thinking this would be so easy minutes before.
But I knew I wanted to share my message, build a community of readers around me, make money, and find freedom.
I had a hundred different thoughts running. The overwhelm canceled out any creative insight that was trying to appear.
Some might call it ‘writer’s block.’
I thought I wasn’t ‘creative enough.’
But today I call it: ‘looking in the wrong place.’
I gradually learned that creativity, regardless of how you feel, comes when you focus on what matters.
Amateur creators struggle because they think of several things at once. The mind is, therefore, blocked. There are many options for you for where to look.
But one of the best things to do is to keep in mind the one person with whom you want to have a conversation.
For example, this can be your likeable ideal reader.
Who are they? What do they look like? What’s their name?
Welcome them into your house.
